Why the Name “The Substance and Evidence”?
The title of our monthly newsletter, The Substance and Evidence, is drawn directly from Hebrews 11:1:
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
This verse is more than poetic—it’s legally prophetic.
As an attorney, Crystal understands the profound weight of substance and evidence in the legal world. Substance refers to what is foundational, real, and tangible. Evidence is what is presented to prove a case, to show that something unseen or disputed is, in fact, true.
In the same way, faith is not wishful thinking—it’s the very foundation and proof of our trust in God. It is the spiritual legal standard by which heaven operates.
The Substance and Evidence is more than a newsletter. It is a prophetic declaration. Each month, we aim to present encouragement, revelation, and insight that strengthens your case for believing—reminding you that your hope is not empty, your prayers are not wasted, and your faith has weight in the courts of heaven.
Faith is your substance. Faith is your evidence. And that’s what this ministry is here to cultivate in you—an unshakable faith rooted in the Word and proven by your walk.
