A Fireworks Faith: God’s Redemptive Shake-Up for America and the Remnant Rising

A Faith-Filled, Prophetic Word of Encouragement

By Crystal G.H. Lowery

June 9, 2025

“Yet once more I shake not only the earth but also the heavens… so that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.”

— Hebrews 12:26–27

Every year, as July rolls in, we’re reminded of the birth of a nation. We wave our flags. We light our fireworks. We sing of freedom. But this year, the Lord is calling us to more than remembrance—He’s calling us to reverence. This isn’t just a time to mark American independence, it’s a time to reclaim spiritual dependence—on Him.

As I’ve prayed into this season, I’ve sensed a very clear prophetic word for July:

“I am shaking everything that man has built outside My voice and outside My name. But this shaking is not for ruin—it is for realignment. I am bringing forth a remnant who will burn with truth and walk in My fire.”

The fireworks in the natural are only a mirror of what God is doing in the spiritual. There is a divine shaking happening in the heavens and in the earth—yes, even in America—and it’s not random. It’s redemptive.

🔥 The Fire Is Not for Destruction—It’s for Refining

Just as gold is refined in fire, so is the Body of Christ. Just as old foundations crack under the pressure of shaking, so too must any part of our lives—or our nation—that was not built on the solid rock of Jesus Christ.

The Lord is not content with shallow religion. He is not pleased with cultural Christianity that bows at the altar of comfort, convenience, and compromise. He is calling His people—not just out of Egypt, but out of Babylon. Out of confusion. Out of mixture.

In this hour, we must ask ourselves:

  • Have we built our churches to impress people or to please God?
  • Have we traded the Word for entertainment?
  • Have we replaced the voice of the Holy Spirit with the voice of popular opinion?
  • Have we followed a political party more than we’ve followed the cross?

This is not a condemnation—it’s a clarion call. God is not done with America, but He is purging America. And the purging always begins with the people of God. Judgment begins in the house of the Lord (1 Peter 4:17).

⚖️ Political Turmoil and Prophetic Realignment

July also brings a swirl of political noise—polls, predictions, and power struggles. You may be feeling weary, confused, or even disillusioned by the headlines. But hear this clearly:

God is not confused. He is not divided. He is not caught off guard.

We must be careful not to view political movements as substitutes for spiritual revival. Though we may engage, vote, and stand for righteousness, our hope is not in who holds any leadership position—but in Who sits on the throne.

That doesn’t mean we withdraw. It means we engage with a Kingdom mindset, not a carnal one. We must become like the sons of Issachar—those who understood the times and knew what Israel ought to do (1 Chronicles 12:32). The prophetic Church must be rooted in discernment, not swayed by manipulation. This is a season where God is not just exposing corruption in politics—He’s exposing passivity and ignorance in the Church.

🙌 The Remnant Has Not Been Forgotten

There is a remnant. They are not forgotten. They are not hidden much longer. And they are not lukewarm.

This is the Elijah generation rising up in the face of compromise. The ones who will call down fire—not for show, but for purification. The ones who will weep between the porch and the altar and cry out, “Spare Your people, O Lord.”

They have been refined in caves, in prayer closets, and in seasons of obscurity. Many of you reading this may feel like that’s been your story—like God put you on a shelf, or like you’ve been waiting, hidden, buried. But I tell you by the Spirit of God, you are not buried—you are planted. And July is a season of sprouting. The soil is breaking open.

The Lord says,

“You will rise not with popularity, but with power. You will not come to echo culture, but to confront it. I will use the ones who are not afraid to be set apart.”

We must not be conformed but transformed. (Romans 12:2)

The question is not whether God is raising up a remnant. The question is—are we willing to be counted among them?

🇺🇸 Let Freedom Be Redefined

America is a land that was founded in the fires of freedom. But too often, we have made freedom a god, instead of thanking God for freedom.

We’ve equated liberty with lawlessness.
We’ve traded truth for tolerance.
And we’ve redefined love as permission to sin.

But this July, I believe the Lord is redefining freedom—not as the world defines it, but as He defines it:

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then…” (Galatians 5:1)

True freedom doesn’t come from man. It comes from the cross. It’s not the ability to do whatever we want—it’s the grace to live righteously, even when everything around us is burning.

Let this Independence Day be more than a cookout or a concert. Let it be a covenant moment. Recommit your heart. Rebuild your altar. Reclaim your call.

🔑 Faith Keys for this Shaking Season:

  1. Anchor yourself in God’s Word daily — In a culture of chaos, the Word is your compass.
  2. Strengthen your altar — Your private time with God is not optional. It is survival.
  3. Intercede prophetically — Ask God how to pray, not just what to pray for. Intercession is warfare.
  4. Guard your gates — Protect your ears, eyes, and heart from propaganda and spiritual pollution.
  5. Do not fear the fire — If you belong to Jesus, the fire won’t consume you—it will refine you.

🕊️ Prophetic Insight for July:

“I am releasing a fresh fire in the land—one that will expose, consume, and ignite. My fire is both judgment and mercy. I am calling My people to be fire-carriers, not fire-avoiders. Walk in My light. Speak with My voice. Remember, I only speak what I hear my Father speak and I only do what I see my Father do.  The shaking will increase, but so will the glory. The days of mixture are ending. I am separating what is holy from what is profane. Choose the narrow road. Choose Me.”

Final Thoughts

We are not victims of culture. We are vessels of the Kingdom.
We are not abandoned. We are appointed.
We are not merely surviving the shaking. We are being shaped by it.

Let this July be more than national celebration—let it be a personal consecration.
And as the fireworks light up the sky, may we remember that the real fire—the fire of the Holy Spirit—is the only flame that will never burn out.
