In our home, there’s a simple but powerful saying: “No Bible, No Breakfast!” It’s not about being legalistic—it’s about making a statement with our lives that Jesus comes first. Just like your body needs food each day to function, your spirit needs the Word of God even more to thrive.
Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14), and when we read the Bible, we’re not just skimming through ink on paper—we’re feeding on the Living Bread, connecting with the Living Word Himself. Daily Scripture isn’t optional if we want to live anchored, Spirit-led lives.

Some people read in the morning, others during lunch, still others in the evening—and that’s okay! The point isn’t the hour on the clock; it’s that you schedule Him into your day intentionally, and let everything else in your life revolve around Him. He’s not a side note—He’s the headline. He’s not a compartment—He saturates it all.
Reading the Word is a non-negotiable part of walking with Jesus. It’s how we know Him, hear Him, and follow Him.
